1989 forester boat and 65 hp merc engine. Model?

I have as descibed in the question above.

To answer the spark plug question, i need the engine serial #. The ID plate is on the starboard clamp bracket. If this is missing, look for an aluminum disc imbedded in the side of the engine block, looks like a big welsh plug. It will have the ser # stamped on it. The HIN (hull identification number) is stamped on the transom, upper starboard side, just below where the hull meets the deck.
